It is probably true that we are all looking for something, for most of our lives, and that this is the way it is. Whether this includes ways to become the best version of ourselves, and curiosity about what this means, what inhibits this, and ways forward. Or steps we may take to achieve a more satisfactory life, or even a simple comfort. Maybe this involves accepting more the way things are, even in difficult times, while also finding our footing for a next step, or freeing ourselves from the tangle we are in, or daring to take a risk in a “less travelled” direction. These are openings for conversations on things that matter.
Perhaps you are looking for psychotherapy, or maybe you are a colleague looking to reflect on your practice. Maybe it’s nature connection that intrigues and interests you, or experiencing and learning, say about the turning wheel of the year through reflecting on the Solstices and Equinoxes. Or perhaps you are curious about your relationship with trees, and dreams, or what it means to walk a contemplative path with soul.
Though maybe you are simply passing through, and if so you may find the UK Council for Psychotherapy, the UK Association for Humanistic Psychology Practitioners, or the British Psychological Society useful pausing points on your way.
You will soon find more creative writing workshops on this site, beginning with writing in nature as another way to reflect on our lives and connect more with wildness. Too, if you are in London on 20 November 2025, you might want to join my book event at Watkins Bookshop, or to join me next year at the Berwick Literary Festival when I will be talking about my new book, Portals into Deep Imagination: Celtic Mythology, Nature’s Year, and the Quest for Soul.
It is probably true that we are all looking for something, including conversations on things that matter.
